Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman, Distinguished Professor of psychology and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research is at the University of California Davis. It is believed that she was the one responsible with establishing the current study of the memory of witnesses and children as witnesses. Prof. Goodman has published widely she has received grants from numerous sources and been recognized with many international and national awards. She consults with numerous nations and organizations around the world regarding policies as well as the study of children's victimization within the court system. She serves as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional associations, including the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is also a member of Psychonomics Society, the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice.
